Everything was absolutely perfect until the last day. We were off the ship at 0900 and the bus driver hit several things with the bus. We got to the Porto hotel and could not check in until after 4 pm . No restaurant on site. No bell boys. The hotel in Lisbon was really great. The cruise itself was very personal with very attentive staff and the excursions were very well organized and informative. I did all 5 of them. The food and dining service was spectacular. This was a long-awaited honeymoon for us to Portugal. It was the first time for a river cruise, and we couldn't have had a better experience on the Amalia Rodriguez. Sonia (the purser), Bruno (the h ead chef), Marline (the entertainment director), Bruno (the bartender) and Sara, (kitchen manager) were absolutely wonderful.
